Teufelberger ropes for big Liebherr
Teufelberger has supplied and installed over 7,500 metres of wire rope – weighing in at more than 90 tonnes, on Liebherr’s largest offshore crane, the MTC 78000.
The 78,000 Tonne/metre crane weighs more than 1,600 tonnes, has a tower height of almost 70 metres and an 87 metre boom allowing loads to be lifted up to 120 metres above sea level at which the crane can handle 500 tonnes. Maximum capacity is 1,600 tonnes at up to 35 metres radius.
