Fatal fall

A man has died after falling from a lift at Malta International airport at Luqa, near the capital Valletta.

The man, 36, a senior technician was using the primitive trailer lift, seemingly with the front outriggers only partially extended when it appears to have tipped.
He was thrown from the platform and was rushed to hospital suffering from serious head injuries from which he died some time later.
