Liebherr GB moves to new premises

This friday, June 25th, Liebherr Great Britain will shut down operations at the Hatfield site that the company first occupied in 1966, the year England last won the world cup (Football/Soccer that is). The company is moving to new 10-acre purpose built premises in Biggleswade near Bedford.

The Liebherr parts department has already moved into the new facility, which includes a high tech parts warehouse, and 5,000 square metre workshop and testing facility, including rolling road and weighbridge.

An open day is planned for later in the year to show the new facility, one of the biggest investments in a new UK distribution premises in years.
