Anything but a MEWP

Here is yet another example from the UK, of a man working at height with inappropriate equipment when aerial lift is available nearby.

The man was working on a barn next door to a rental yard where our photographer was testing an aerial lift. The job looks as though it involves cladding or treating the barn and likely to take some time. And yet the job is taking two men and an expensive excavator.

On top of that it is incredibly dangerous especially as the man is stood on one side of a rotating clamp. In addition to that the ground below him looks a little less than clear so in the event that he does fall he may well land on something that might finish him off.
