Ruthmann appoints new construction and development manager

German-based truck mounted aerial lift manufacturer Ruthmann has appointed Nico Krekeler as construction and development manager. The 29-year old engineer from Bochum, Germany replaces Ulrich Kleine-Boes, who left the company at the end of last year.

“Ruthmann is a well-positioned, all-round aerial platform manufacturer and special-transport vehicle technology professional,” said Krekeler. “It is my job to make sure that, together with my highly-motivated and skilled team of professionals, it maintains and expands the design and development department which has played such an important role in the success of the company.”

Krekeler joined Ruthmann from Ruhr University in Bochum where he was a research assistant in the material-handling technology department and part of a construction-machinery study group.
