Fatal crane accident in Singapore
A tower crane accident in Singapore yesterday has left one man dead and three injured.
The accident occurred at Punggol Central while the crane was being dismantled a tower by a team of five erectors. The crane’s jib is reported to have fallen to the ground.
A 32 year old Malaysian worker was pronounced dead at the scene, while three other men from Thailand, China and Bangladesh, were injured and were taken to Changi general hospital.

Singapore’s ministry of manpower immediately ordered the contractor, Kay Lim Construction, to stop work on the site until further notice.
