My thoughts are with all of Jim's family at this time of need.
I have known Jim since I was around 10 years old as he and my Dad worked together for many many years and in doing so became close family friends.
He is a person larger than life and had a reputation to match thoughout the crane hire industry.
That is one pair of boots that I doubt will ever be filled.
A true gentle giant and legend that will be sadly missed.
R.I.P Jim, I'm proud of knowing you and being able to call you a friend.

So sad to hear that one of the best characters in the crane industry has died. Where ever he worked he will always be remembered as one of the best drivers with a great sense of humour. I remember many good jobs we have done together over the past 35 years and he will be greatly missed. My kindest regards to all his family at this sad time. Alex Glover, Terranova.
