Dingli adds to European team

Chinese manufacturer Dingli has appointed Laurent Guillaux as general manager continental Europe.

He joins the company from French vehicle mounted lift manufacturer Klubb, where he has been sales director for the past year and a half. In his new job he will be responsible for building sales, distribution and product support throughout the region.

Laurent Guillaux

Guillaux began his career in Singapore in 1990 as a sales rep with Atals Converting Equipment, a UK-based manufacturer of roll slitting machines - slitters - widely used in the printing and sheet metal industries. Three years later he was transferred to Hong Kong to manage the company’s office as general manager. In 1997 he moved to the truck maker DAF Truck, serving as area manager for the Far East. His first move into the access business came in 1999 when he joined Grove as a district manager for its Manlift line, which included the Delta/Toucan mast boom range. When the business was reorganised in 2001, he was promoted to sales & marketing manager for Grove Manlift and Delta, for Europe, Africa and the Middle East
In 2004 the business was acquired by JLG which appointed him general manager for JLG France, five year’s later his role expanded to cover sales and customer support for Southern Europe. In 2013 he was transferred to sister company Oshkosh Fire and Emergency as senior director for international sales in Europe, Turkey and North Africa. He left for Klubb at the end of 2020.

Dingli’s overseas sales director Susan Huang said: “Laurent’s background and experience will be great assets to strengthen Dingli’s presence in Europe. Our extensive range of aerial work platforms has already attracted many customers and we will continue to demonstrate our long-term commitment to the European region.”
