Change again at Skyjack
Aerial lift and telehandler manufacturer Skyjack is once again without a president, following the recent departure of Ken Myers.
Myers moved into the role in October, replacing Steve Shaughnessy, he was previously group president of Linmar's powertrain division, having joined the company in 2002. Linamar is not saying a great deal about the departure which we understand occurred around three weeks ago and is unrelated to anything that happened during his tenure at Skyjack.

Ken Myers
Skyjack is currently being run by the management team with the support of Linamar’s corporate office. The company has said that it will not rush into appointing a replacement.
Vertikal Comment
Since Ken McDougall moved to Linamar’s powertrain business in early 2010 the company appears to have struggled to find a president that it is comfortable with, although this particular case may be related to other issues.
Skyjack has a stable and experienced senior management team, which manages the day to day business of the company without a great deal of supervision and has in the past operated perfectly well without a president on site every day. So there is no reason to expect Myers departure to have any immediate impact.
Linamar is right to take its time with any new appointment if it is to make it ‘third time lucky’
