Brown stays in front

On day three of the charity run from John O’Groats to Lands End, crane operator Michael Brown increased his lead by a further 20 minutes, in spite of making a wrong turn and running an extra 13 miles - completing 67.7 miles of the 54.7 mile sector from Beauly to Spean Bridge in 14 hours and 34 minutes.

Mike Brown heading towards Spean Bridge yesterday

However after 175 miles in three days only three runners remain – Brown, Steve Gordon and Micky Sutton. With 685 miles left to go will any of them make it to the tip of Cornwall?

Today the trio run from Spean Bridge to Tyndrum a distance of 55.1 miles.
