GT Access adds Manitous

UK rental company GT Access has ordered 20 Manitou rough terrain articulated boom lifts after securing £1 million in new funding from Santander.

The order comprises of a mix of 16 metre 160ATJs, 18 metre 180ATJs and 20 metre 200ATJ boom lifts. It has also ordered a number of Manitou’s 160ATJ+s, which offer a larger working platform and an increased 400kg capacity. Features include three steering modes, hydrostatic transmission, four wheel drive, heavy duty axles and the ability to operate on gradients up to 40 percent.

Last month GT Access secured £1 million funding from Santander. The company has said it will use the funding to support the continued expansion of the business as well as increase its product range and take on more staff.

With a fleet of more than 1,000 aerial work platforms, GT Access operates from depots in Bromsgrove, Gloucester, Stoke on Trent, Shrewsbury and Hereford. The company is also a member of the UK’s Access Alliance.
