30 JCBs for Tru

UK rental company Tru Plant – established up by ex-Fork Rent owner Guy Nicholls – has taken delivery of a further 30 JCB telehandlers as part of a £16 million order for more than 300 JCB machines.

The latest order includes 13.7 metre/four tonne 540-140 HiViz models which incorporate JCB’s Stage V diesel engines which the company claims is five percent more fuel efficient. Supplied by Watling JCB, they join a number of telehandler and Rough Terrain fork trucks in the company’s fleet delivered over the past 18 months.

Nicholls, said: “We are truly passionate about plant hire and the whole team here at Tru7 Group shares our attitude and expertise. Thanks to our resources and, most importantly, the right equipment, we have quickly put Tru Plant on the map as a major player in the hire industry. There are many reasons we choose JCB. We are loyal to the brand which has played a major part in our success, we have a long-standing relationship with the company and the customer care we receive from our dealer Watling JCB is excellent. We’ve been very impressed with the new JCB machines as we strive to invest in the best equipment on the market.”
