Atlas appoints head of marketing

Loader crane and excavator company Atlas has appointed Glenn Frey as head of marketing. He takes over from Joel Schiliro and will report directly to managing director Brahim Stitou. He will be responsible for developing the Atlas brand alongside the day to day marketing activities. Schiliro has returned to the food industry, working with Lieken as brand manager for its Golden Toast product line.

Frey began his career in 2009 as a product specialist with graphics design company Maxon computer, focusing on four dimensional (4D) effects for the cinema, after 13 years with the company he moved to a similar roles with computing company U-Render until it was forced into bankruptcy in 2022 following the fallout from Covid and the invasion of Ukraine.

Stitou said: “Frey has a lot of experience in the field of presentation, marketing and public relations. He has already supported us several times at events in the past, most recently he took over the presentations at our stand at bauma.”

He added: "I would also like to express our sincere thanks to Joel Schiliro for his achievements and commitment over the past years, during which time he has structured and developed the marketing of Atlas products, and wish him well in his new role.”
