UK tracked carrier manufacturer Aconda has received its King’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation for the development of its compact carriers.
Tom Cannon of Aconda receives the award from Jennifer Tolhurst, lord lieutenant of Essex
The award announced last May was presented at the company’s Witham headquarters by Jennifer Tolhurst, the lord lieutenant of Essex, the king's personal representative in the county. It recognises Aconda’s development of battery powered, remote controlled carriers for moving loads of up to 4,000kg.

The actuakl presentation took place in the company’s newly completed warehouse extension and brought together a small group of staff and family involved in the work behind the award.

The company said: “The award reflects the ongoing development of our Tracked Carrier range, and the work that goes into refining machines for consistent performance in real operating conditions. It was a proud moment for everyone involved, and a chance to recognise the contribution made across the business.”
Founded in 2018, Aconda continues to expand its operations, as it builds its distribution network throughout Europe, North America and Canada. Development is also underway on new AI-assisted navigation features for future models.
