Snorkel expands UK sales team

Snorkel UK has appointed three new regional sales managers, plus a sales coordinator.

Chris Bennett joins the company as sales manager for the North West region. He was previously with JLG where he was responsible for developing a dealer network, as well as account management and end user sales. Before that he worked in retail and as a bus driver.

Alistair Jordan has taken on the role as sales manager North East England and Scotland. He previously ran Rapid Platforms, until leaving the family company in 2015. Click here to see Rapid change

Joseph Whitton has been promoted to sales manager for the Yorkshire-Humberside region, having joined Snorkel Europe in 2015 as a graduate working within the European region customer services team.

To support the expanded field sales team, Snorkel has appointed Lisa Killala as sales co-ordinator, based at the UK production facility headquarters in Washington, Tyne & Wear. She will be primarily responsible for assisting the UK sales team with customer service duties, including taking inbound customer calls, preparing quotations, processing orders, scheduling deliveries, maintaining the customer database and records, and supporting the overall sales effort. She previously worked with Miller UK as customer account manager, before that she spent three years with A-Belco as production support officer. She joined that company in 2012 from S&B EPS where she was responsible for sales administration, following 11 years as executive officer at the Department for Work and Pensions. She will report directly to Andrew Fishburn, managing director of Snorkel UK.

The expanded Snorkel UK team at Vertikal Days

All four new team members have joined the company this month, with all but Whitton kicking off their new jobs at the recent Vertikal Days event.
