Changes at Multitel
Multitel Pagliero has held its annual meeting for wholly-owned subsidiaries Germany, France, UK and Italy, during which it discussed the results including record sales, order intake and backlog. At the same time the company detailed the recent changes to company ownership, along with a new sales and marketing structure and strategies for 2022.
On the sales and marketing front Alessandro Blanchi has been confirmed as sales director for Italy, a role that has essentially been vacant since 2018. He has been with the company for more than 20 years, most recently as regional manager for the northern Italy.

Meanwhile international sales director Roberto Marangoni adds the global marketing role to his duties following the departure of Valentina Pagliero.

Late last year Renzo Pagliero acquired his brother Sandro’s share in the business to become the sole shareholder. He is now president while his son Fabio is managing director and daughter Anna financial director. Renzo and Sandro had taken over the business in 2004, after their father Piero passed away in 2004. Multitel builds more truck mounted platforms than any other European manufacturer shipping over 1,500 units with revenues thought to be in the region of €120 million. It has also become a significant player in the spider lift market. The company was founded in 1911
celebrating its 100th Birthday in September 2011.
