More big Dinglis for Kranpunkten

Swedish rental company Kranpunkten has taken delivery of a number of new top end Dingli all electric boom and scissor lifts. Part of its move towards a fully climate neutral rental fleet.

The latest units include Dingli’s 139ft BT44ERT telescopic boom lifts and 99ft Dingli 3225 DC Rough Terrain scissor lifts.
The BT44ERT boom lift offers a maximum working height of 44 metres with 27.2 metres of outreach with 300kg in the platform, while the 454kg maximum capacity can be taken to a 24.9 metre outreach. Kranpunkten is the first Swedish rental company to add this model to its range.

The 3225DC scissor lift offers a maximum working height of 32 metres, and is driveable at full height with its 1,000kg maximum platform capacity. The 2.1 metre deck extension can be locked in place at any point and benefits from the full 1,000kg platform capacity while extending the overall deck length from 6.2 metres to 8.3 metres. Four wheel drive and steer are standard as are auto levelling outriggers.

Purchasing manager Rikard Jönsson said: "We continue to invest in fully electric lifts in line with our strategy of being completely climate neutral by 2030. This means we must place high demands on our equipment suppliers to continuously develop more environmentally friendly products. Therefore, it is gratifying to see that technological development now allows us to complement our fleet with electric machines that can handle really high heights and complex workplaces."

Based in Båstad, Southern Sweden Kranpunkten Sweden was established in 1989 in Förslöv between Gothenburg and Malmo. It now runs a fleet of more than 4,500 units, mostly aerial work platforms, including booms, scissor lifts, trailer lifts, truck mounts and mastclimbers, along with telehandlers and wheeled loaders, from nine locations with around 110 employees. Today 85 percent of the units in its fleet are already either electric or hybrid powered.
