Terex Crane announce price increases

The Crane division of Terex, which includes Terex Demag, has announced a four to six percent price increase effective November first.

Ainscough order 37 new cranes from Liebherr

The UK’s largest crane hire company Ainscough has ordered 37 new Liebherr All Terrain cranes for delivery between December 2004 and February 2005. The order includes 60, 100 and 220 tonne units.

Crane driver accused of involuntary Homicide

The driver of a mobile crane owned by Mediaco in France, has been placed under court control for involuntary Homicide following an accident last week near Nantes that killed a 12 year old school girl, injured another and narrowly missed 23 others.

United Rentals up 8.8 percent at nine months

United Rentals, the worlds largest Aerial lift owner, has reported revenues up 8.8 perecnt for the nine months to end September 2004 compared with 2003. No mention made of SEC investigation.

Haulotte revenues jump 51 percent

Haulotte has announced its third quarter sales revenues, which show an increase of 51 percent over the same period in 2003. Year to date sales are up by 26 percent.

Hewden invests over £12m in new crane and access equipment

Hewden, the UK’s largest Crane and Access rental company, has confirmed details of the £12 million investment that is has made in new crane and powered access equipment this year. The entire spend was awarded to Terex group companies, Demag and Genie.
