Sinoboom has confirmed the appointment of John Chandler as UK general manager, effective from the start of July, in other words next Tuesdsay.
He joins the company after spending six months on a business development project with truck mounted lift rental company Blade Access, following a four year spell with JCB where he was sales director of the access division. where he was responsible for sales throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East, as well as Aisa Pacific and South America.

Chandler began his career in 2006 as a national account manager with the rental division of Wolseley, leaving for a similar role at HSS Hire in 2008. In 2012 he returned to Wolseley for 10 months until he was recruited by Genie in 2013 as UK national accounts manager and was promoted to UK and Ireland regional sales manager in 2016. He left the company the following year to join JCB as national access sales manager but returned to Genie in 2018, before moving back to JCB at the end of 2020. The move follows the recent departure of Craig who was appointed last August. Sinoboom confirmed in April that it had selected a site in Derby as the location for its UK base.
